The series “Vis a vis,” new at MIPTV
In all of its formats and genres, fiction is still MIPTV’s star content (13 to 16 of April), the greatest worldwide multi-screen content market. Bearing this in mind, Globomedia’s series reach this important audio-visual fair year after year. For this edition of MIPTV, which begins in Cannes next week, “Vis a vis” (“Locked Up”) will be presented.

This new production by Globomedia which Antena 3, is a prison drama narrating the prison experiences of Macarena (Maggie Civantos), a fragile and innocent young girl who finds herself immersed in a thriller right after going to prison. Besides the shock in the sudden halt to her pleasant existence, she will soon discover that too many people in the jail are on the scent of nine million euros stolen from a van.

Following with recent premiers, another one of the fictional series to be presented at Miptv is the second season of Globomedia’s series “B&B,” which Telecinco has pending debut. In addition to being loaded with high emotional intensity due to the characters’ personal conflicts, this second season of “B&B” will also reinforce professional plots, very close to reality.

What is more, new entertainment titles will also be present at Cannes, such as “Los Viernes al show” (“Two for the show”).

Since “Médico de familia” (“Family doctor”) took off beyond our borders, Globomedia’s fiction has unceasingly conquered new territories. More than 40 countries are following “Águila Roja” (“Red Eagle’s”) adventures. Also of note is the success obtained in Russia with adaptation of “Luna” (“Moon”) and the second season of “El Barco” (“The Ship”) on the CTC channel.

Currently being broadcast, “El Internado” (“The Boarding School”), “El Barco” (“The Ship”), “Luna” (“Moon”) and “Los hombres de Paco” (“Paco’s Men”) are being warmly welcomed by Latin American audiences through several on-demand video platforms.
